Services
Testing with Your Existing Well Pump
Using the pump already installed in your well, we perform detailed tests to measure flow quantity and assess overall system performance. This efficient, non-invasive method evaluates water output and pressure, making it ideal for routine maintenance or verifying your well’s condition. We also collect samples for lab-based water quality testing to ensure your water meets safety and purity standards.

Truck-Mounted Pump Testing for New Wells
For new or untested wells, we bring our own quality pump, mounted on our pump truck, to conduct comprehensive tests. We lower the pump into the well to measure flow quantity, depth, and water output, ensuring your well is ready for use. Water samples are sent to our lab for quality analysis to confirm purity and safety. This all-in-one service is fast, reliable, and handled entirely by our team for your convenience.

Generator-Powered Testing for Installed Pumps
For wells without electrical access, we use our portable generator to power your existing well pump during testing. This allows us to accurately measure flow quantity, ensuring dependable results even off-grid. We also collect water samples for lab analysis to verify quality.

Snake Camera Well Inspection
Our advanced snake camera provides a clear, real-time view inside your well to check for obstructions, cracks, or damaged linings. This thorough inspection helps identify issues that could affect flow or water quality, preventing costly repairs down the road. Combined with our flow quantity tests and lab-based water quality analysis, this service ensures your well is structurally sound and performing at its best.

Meet the Owner
Experience Matters
My name is Doug Lane, and I am the owner of Lane Well Testing. I have four decades of experience drilling wells and setting up water systems in the Spokane and surrounding areas. My first summer job as a kid wasn’t mowing lawns—it was working alongside my dad and grandfather. I enjoyed the work and cherished the time I got to spend with my dad and grandpa. I learned a lot from them and from the skilled individuals I’ve met throughout the years.
Building Expertise in Pump Systems
My deep understanding of pump systems stems from training under Shane Roberts and Brian Stewart, two highly respected figures in the industry. Brian, a childhood friend, has been instrumental in shaping my skills, consistently offering creative solutions to challenging tasks. Together, we’ve honed our expertise over the years, blending his innovative approach with my hands-on experience to deliver reliable, high-quality pump system installations and maintenance.
Why Experience Counts
When deciding who you want to evaluate and certify your well and system, ask about their experience because experience is what matters.
