SERVICES

All services are offered from the Eastern side of Washington to Northern parts of Idaho. Contact us if you have questions or concerns about your location.

New well testing and certification

For recently drilled wells that have yet to have a system added, we bring our pump truck out and drop our own pump down the hole. Our pump truck will find an accurate flow rate (GPM) and draw samples at the end of the test to be sent into the lab. This also speeds up the permitting process when building your home.

existing well testing and certification

When testing wells for water quality and quantity, we start by inspecting the mechanical side of your water system. The next step is to determine the systems maximum yield positional. At the end of the yield test, we carefully draw samples to be taken to the lab to test for potability.

DOWN HOLE CAMERA INSPECTIONS

Have a well on your property with no documentation or information? We have that covered. Our state of the art in well camera system can be utilized to determine the wells construction details. This camera can also be used in wells to determine imperfections, and/or the feasibility of performing a pump test to potentially put a well into service.

Meet the owner

My name is Doug Lane, I am the owner of Lane Well Testing. I have 4 decades of drilling wells and setting up water systems in the Spokane and surrounding areas.

My first summer as a kid wasn't mowing lawns. I spent that time in the field working alongside my dad and grandfather drilling water wells. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with the two and it opened my eyes to this line of work. I learned a lot from them and other drillers over the years.

On the pump system side of things, I got my education from Shane Robbins and Brian Stewart. Anyone in this business knows these two gentlemen by name. I use to stay behind once the well was drilled and help Shane set pumps. He taught me many creative ways to get things done.

Brian is the task master. He is the most technically sound water systems professional I've ever met. Every question ever asked, he had the answer or a witty solution for me. He has been a dear friend of mine since childhood and taught me a lifetimes worth of knowledge over the years.

I was lucky to have found Doug, owner and operator of Lane Well Testing, while searching for information about a local well on property I was ready to make an offer on. I was referred to him by a local pump co who said this is the best guy in the business. I now agree.

Doug spent significant time with me on the phone on two separate occasions and made me feel heard and cared for. I received an education and insight enabling me to ask the right questions about the well on the property. I ended up seeing many red flags to caution and stop me from making a huge mistake and withheld my offer. Dough saved me and my family from certain hardship and huge financial burden.

He is now my guy for any and all well concerns. Make him your to! If you’re in doubt call a few local pump companies and I bet they know him by name.
